High-Capacity Multiple Payee Payments

We are excited to announce a significant enhancement to our Multiple Payee Payment workflow, designed to make managing large payment batches faster and more efficient. This update will be deployed soon, and we wanted to give you a first look at what’s changing.

What’s New?

We’ve overhauled the Multiple Payee Payment form to handle much larger volumes of data without sacrificing performance. Key improvements include:

• Increased Capacity: You can now include up to 400 payees in a single payment for, a significant increase from previous limits.
• Faster Loading: We’ve introduced a new "Expand-to-Edit" view. Instead of loading every editor at once, the form now stays light and responsive. You simply click a row to expand and edit its details.
• Background Processing: For large batches (100+ payees), the system will now process the payment in the background. This means you no longer have to wait for the screen to load after hitting submit, you can move on to your next task immediately.
• Real-Time Progress & Notifications: When a large batch is processing, you’ll see a real-time progress bar. Once finished, you’ll receive an automated email summary with the final success and failure counts.

How It Works

• Create Your Payment: Open the Multiple Payee Payment form as usual and import your file or add payees manually.
  
    
•  Edit with Ease:Click on any row to expand it. This opens the full editor for that specific payee while keeping the rest of the list clean and fast.  
  
    
  
    
  
  
• Submit Large Batches:If your batch exceeds 100 payees, the system will automatically switch to background processing upon submission.
• Stay Informed: Watch the progress bar on your screen or wait for the confirmation email to arrive in your inbox.

Pro-Tips for Success

• Quickly Fix Errors: Use the new "Show only rows with issues" filter at the top of the form. This instantly hides all valid rows, allowing you to focus only on the payees that need attention.
  
    
• Seamless Imports: Even with 400 rows, you’ll notice that imports are now significantly smoother with no browser "freezing."
• Background Freedom: Don't feel the need to stay on the page for large submissions. The background job ensures your work is completed even if you navigate away.
