Improved “Send Back to Address Comments” + New Review Comments & Approval History Section

We’re excited to announce a new enhancement that improves the “Send Back to Address Comments” workflow and adds a dedicated “Review Comments & Approval History” section to provide better visibility and tracking.

What’s New & Improved:

• Enhanced Send Back Modal When you click “Send Back to Address Comments”, a cleaner modal (similar to the Decline modal) now opens with:
  • A much larger, more expansive comment input area
  • Full attachment upload support (up to 10 files per action)
  • Allowed file types: PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PNG, JPG, CSV, TXT, etc.
• New “Review Comments & Approval History” Section A new section titled “Review Comments & Approval History” has been added to all relevant forms (below the Approver List and above Comments).
  
  This section:
  • Appears only after a form has been sent back for comments (it stays hidden on normal new submissions)
  • Displays reviewer comments, attachments, and action details
  • Shows a snapshot of the approval status at the time the form was sent back (including which approvers had already approved, which were still pending, and any skip approvals)
  • Maintains a clear historical log of each “Send Back to Address Comments” action with timestamps
• Existing workflow behavior remains unchanged for normal approvals.
• All existing attachment security rules and file validation continue to apply.
• Historical forms and previous approval records are unaffected.

Attachments are saved and clearly linked to the specific send-back action. 

This enhancement makes it much easier for both submitters and approvers to understand the full history of a form, especially when it has gone through multiple review cycles.
