This FAQ answers common questions about Vendor Form dynamic fields.
These fields can be used to collect custom vendor information.
Client with the correct permissions can choose whether each field:
- appears in reports
- appears in the Vendor Portal
- appears in both
This feature applies to the Vendor Form only .

What does this feature do?

This feature lets administrators add custom fields to the Vendor Form .

Each field can be used for reporting, Vendor Portal display, or both .
Where do I add Vendor Form dynamic fields?

Go to Dynamic Forms > Data Management > Additional Field Configuration .

Select Module: Purchasing and then choose Vendor Form .
Can I make a field available for reporting only?

Yes. Select Available for Reporting and leave Displayed in Vendor Portal unchecked .
Can I make a field visible in the Vendor Portal only?

Yes. Select Displayed in Vendor Portal and leave Available for Reporting unchecked .
Can I turn on both settings for the same field?

Yes. The two settings are independent . You can turn on one or both depending on your needs .
Where do reportable fields appear?

Reportable fields can appear in:
- Vendor List
- Vendor Report
- Payment Listing Report
Where do Vendor Portal fields appear?

These fields appear on the Vendor Registration page in the Vendor Portal .
Why do I not see my field in reports?

Make sure Available for Reporting is selected .

Also confirm you submitted the configuration after adding the field .
Why do I not see my field in the Vendor Portal?

Make sure Displayed in Vendor Portal is selected .

Also confirm the field was added to the Vendor Form and the configuration was submitted .
What field types work best for reporting?

Text and fill in fields are sortable and filterable by text value .

Dropdown fields display configured options as report filters .
Are Information Only fields reportable?

No. Information Only fields are static display text only. They are not reportable .
Can I use this feature on other forms?

No. This feature applies to the Vendor Form only at this time .
What information can I track with these fields?

You can track vendor specific data such as:
- certification types
- registration details
- internal reporting fields
- other custom vendor data
